aimhigherhumber.org is operated by Aimhigher Humber and may be accessed through the Internet. By using aimhigherhumber.org you accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the 'Terms of Use').

To be eligible to use the restricted access areas of this site you must be either a designated practitioner or coordinator related to the work of Aimhigher Humber or a registered Aimhigher Humber learner attending a school, academy or college in one of the 4 local authorities that make up the Humber sub region. They are, City of Kingston upon Hull, North East Lincolnshire, East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. Learner registration is done through the school, academy or college based Aimhigher co ordinators or practitioners. Practitioners and coordinators of Aimhigher are required to have enhanced CRB disclosures verified through their employing institutions.
We expect that all users of this site will recognise that being courteous and showing respect for other people, themselves and any content added to the site will form part of a code of conduct which keeps users safe, and should be good practice in using any similar web sites.
You agree to abide by all applicable local, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your account made by you including the content of your transmissions through aimhigherhumber.org. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree NOT to:
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other aimhigherhumber.org users. We reserve the right to monitor disputes between you and other users and report inappropriate use to members’ home institutions.
Aimhigher Humber will not use or disclose confidential information or data for use beyond the monitoring and tracking requirements as are part of the delivery of the programme as required by the funding bodies.
You as a user of aimhigherhumber.org will not disclose your personal log on details to other people and you will not make use of any personal information gathered from using the site belonging to another person or related to a school, academy or college or institution related to Aimhigher Humber.
You agree to be fully responsible for all use of your account and for any actions that take place using your account.
You are solely responsible for the photos, profiles (including your name, image, and likeness), messages, notes, text, information, and other content that you upload, publish or display (hereinafter, "post") on or through aimhigherhumber.org, or transmit to or share with other users (collectively the "User Content"). You may not post, transmit, or share User Content on the Site that you did not create or that you do not have permission to post. You understand and agree that Aimhigher Humber may, but is not obligated to, review the Site and may delete or remove (without notice) any Site Content or User Content in its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, including User Content that in the sole judgment of Aimhigher Humber violates this Agreement, or which might be offensive, illegal, or that might violate the rights, harm, or threaten the safety of users or others. You are solely responsible at your sole cost and expense for creating backup copies and replacing any User Content you post or store on the Site or provide to aimhigherhumber.org.
When you post User Content to the Site, you authorise and direct us to make such copies thereof as we deem necessary in order to facilitate the posting and storage of the User Content on the Site. Aimhigher Humber does not assert any ownership over your User Content; rather, as between us and you, subject to the rights granted to us in these Terms, you retain full ownership of all of your User Content and any intellectual property rights or other proprietary rights associated with your User Content.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and we prohibit users from uploading, posting or otherwise transmitting on aimgherhumber.org any materials that violate another party's intellectual property rights. When we receive proper Notification of Alleged Copyright Infringement as described in our aimgherhumber.org Copyright Policy, we promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. If you believe that any material on the Site infringes upon any copyright which you own or control, you may send a written notification of such infringement to our Designated Agent. Aimhigher Humber and its affiliates, partners, members, suppliers, employees, consultants and agents disclaim any and all responsibility or liability for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, or operability or availability of information or materials displayed on aimhigherhumber.org.
Aimhigher Humber further expressly disclaims (1) that aimhigherhumber.org will meet your requirements and will be uninterrupted, error-free, timely, or secure, (2) that defects or errors will be corrected, (3) that aimhigherhumber.org or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components, and (4) that the use of or the results of the use of aimhigherhumber.org or the content made available as part of aimhigherhumber.org will be correct, accurate, timely, or otherwise reliable.
Aimhigher Humber expressly disclaims any and all responsibility and liability for the conduct of any other member, and expressly disclaims that the content and materials of aimhigherhumber.org input by other members is correct or accurate.
Aimhigher Humber reserves the right to change any and all content, software and other items used or contained in the Site and any Services and Platform Applications offered through the Site at any time without notice.
In no event will Aimhigher Humber or its directors, employers or agents be liable to you or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages, including for any lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the site, any platform applications or any of the site content or other materials on, accessed through or downloaded from the site, even if Aimhigher Humber is aware or has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms of Use will apply to your use of aimhigherhumber.org. At any time, you can terminate your account which will remove your profile and other personal information from view. To cancel your account, send a notice to: aimhigherhumber.org. We may terminate your membership immediately at any time, for any reason. Once your membership terminates, you will have no right to use aimhigherhumber.org. Our proprietary rights, disclaimer of warranties, shall survive any termination of your membership.
Aimhigher Humber may also, in its sole discretion and at any time, discontinue temporarily or permanently providing aimhigherhumber.org, or any part thereof, with or without notice. You agree that any termination of access to aimhigherhumber.org under any provision of the Terms of Use may be effected without notice, and acknowledge and agree that Aimhigher Humber may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information and files in your account and/or bar any further access to such files or aimhigherhumber.org. Where possible, Aimhigher Humber will use reasonable efforts to give members fair notice of termination or suspension of their access to aimhigherhumber.org. Further you agree that Aimhigher Humber shall not be liable to you or any third party for any termination or suspension of access to aimhigherhumber.org or modification of aimhigherhumber.org.
You may not post, modify, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyright material, trademarks, or other proprietary information belonging to others without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Aimhigher Humber respects the intellectual property rights of others and will terminate any user's access to aimhigherhumber.org according to these terms of use if Aimhigher Humber is notified that such user's activities infringe the rights of third parties on more than one occasion. If you believe that your work (or the work of a third party on whose behalf you are entitled to act) has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please file a copyright infringement notification (Notice) with us, by sending a written communication which should include the following information, in the same order as is set out in (i) to (x) below:
